1.) Better restart your box and -> stop for maintenace

2.) open the terminal window and then write
setenv -f eaddr 080:69e:17:6D 
boot /unix 

3.) Irix starts then with 690e176d for the time until you shut it down. After the restart it's using the old one again.



VENDOR_STRING=07355671 - it means license needs dongle. DL products does not understand perm lic without a valid dongle.


SGI's dongle is Network Interface MAC adress.
This license string is fit only 080:69e:17:6D.
