5D.Neon

PURPOSE
To create a self-coloring and illuminating glow, and simulate neon filled lighting tubes.

INPUT CLIPS
Neon Tube Clip: the regions to create the glow. This could be local areas on black. Each input pixel, which is not black, will glow.
Background: the glowed objects can be added to the background using the environment controls.

The NEON Tube
Radius (Min: 0.0 Max: 100.0 Default: 5.0)
The extent of the glow.

Brightness (Min: 0.0 Max: 100.0 Default: 10.0)
Brightness level of the glow.

Boost (Min: 0.0 Max: 20.0 Default: 0.0)
Increases the intensity of the glow objects.

ENVIRONMENT
Light (Min: 0.0 Max: 100.0 Default: 100.0)
The brightness of the background which is to be illuminated. Reducing this will dim the background and the neon will light the local area.

Scale (Min: 0.0 Max: 20.0 Default: 0.0)
Scale the illumination level of the glow over the image.

COLOUR
Red/Green/Blue (Default: yellow)
The chosen color is used only in when Color Override is on.

Override (Default: Off)
Off=0: the color is taken directly from the glow object colors.
On=1: the color is taken solely from the color chosen.

Tip: a single color is faster than computing a selection of colors. If you only want a single glow color, pick the color and turn Color Override on.
