Exercise 7: USING THE BIRTH CLIP

For the next input clip chose a clip which defines where particles can be born. Particles will be born where white areas of this clip and the birth circle coincide. If you are using a full color image for the birth control clip then only the red channel is considered.

  1. set up the reel with Particles encompassing the birth clip then the background clip.
  2. make sure your birth region covers the relevant area in the birth clip.
  3. switch on clip control birth in th PI.
  4. KILL ALL PARTICLES.
  5. play the sequence.
