Clip to Turbulate
Background: image to reveal.
Straight Matte: used undistorted when compositing the turbulence image over the
background.
Turbulated Matte: used distorted when compositing the turbulence image over the
background.
SPEED
XY (Min 0.0 Max 100.0 Default 0.0)
Speed of movement across and up the turbulence.
Change (Min 0.0 Max 100.0 Default 50.0)
Speed of movement through the turbulence.
TURBULENCE
Factor (Min 0.0 Max 100.0 Default 50.0)
The detailing of the turbulence applied to the clip. 0.0 has no effect;
low numbers create broad swirls; high numbers fine wiggles.
Frequency 1 (Min 0.0 Max 100.0 Default 45.0)
Frequency 2 (Min 0.0 Max 100.0 Default 25.0)
Define the internal features of the turbulence. The ratio of the two frequencies creates
the structure combined with the turbulence value. Swapping frequency values results in the
same patterns.
Style (Default: Turbulence)
Turbulence=0 or Noise=1 a choice of function for the structuring.
Seed (Min 0 Max 9999 Default 575)
Changing the seed creates a completely new structure.
MATTE
Use(Default Off)
Off=0: the matte clip will not be used.
On=1: the matte clip can be used to define where the turbulence is seen.
Where the matte clip is black the turbulence is totally transparent, and
where white, fully visible.
Invert (Default Off)
Off=0: the matte clip is used as is.
On=1: reverses the effect of the matte clip; white becomes black etc.
CONTROL
Use (Default: Off<)
Off=0: the control clip will not be used.
On=1: the control clip can be used to define where the turbulence is
seen. Similar to the matte in that it is used to composite the first clip over
the second, but here the control clip has the turbulence applied to it also.
Invert (Default: Off)
Off=0: the control clip is used as is.
On=1: reverses the effect of the control clip; white becomes black etc.
Blur (Min 0.0 Max 20.0 Default: 0.0)
Blurs the control image and thus softens the edges of the turbulence.
Edge Wrap (Default: Off)
Off=0: the background, second clip, is revealed where the turbulence image is dragged
from the edge.
On=1: the turbulence image will wrap round.
