Changing Your Screen Resolution

The following screen resolutions are supported for your Softimage product:

·      1024 x 768

·      1280 x 1024

·      1600 x 1024 (SGI Visual Workstation for Windows only)

·      1600 x 1200

Note: For 1600 x 1024, set the SI_SCREENRES environment variable to SI_1600X1024 for maximum horizontal display.

To change your screen resolution:

Windows

1.    Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display.

2.    Click the Settings tab. In the Desktop Area, drag the slider to change the resolution.

Note: Be sure to click Test before you accept the changes. The type of graphics card and monitor you have determine whether or not you can increase the resolution of your screen.

IRIX/Linux

The IRIX/Linux command to change the resolution is setmon. Type man setmon in a shell for more information.
