::Release Note Procedures Per Host Application::

For Windows:

Media100 844X
Users must manually install the combustion version of the AdvantEdge plug-in. Locate the directory called "Ultimatte\ AdvantEdge\Plug-ins\Media100-844x". In this folder will be the AdvantEdge_cmb.aex plug-in which should be copied and pasted into the plug-ins folder inside your Media100 844X application.

Eyeon Digital Fusion v3.12 or higher
If a foreground sequence is missing frames, be sure to set "Missing Frames" in the Digital Fusion Loader to "Output Black" if advancing frames inside the AdvantEdge interface. If any other "missing frames" option is chosen from Digital Fusion, AdvantEdge will crash Digital Fusion when the missing frame is reached inside AdvantEdge. This only occurs in the AdvantEdge UI, but will render properly from within Digital Fusion.

Digital Fusion projects that use AdvantEdge must be configured for _One Simultaneous Render_ and _No Simultaneous Branching_

Digital Fusion users whose Windows locale settings use a comma as the decimal separator must change the windows locale settings to use a period (.) instead of a comma (,) for the decimal delimiter so that decimal numbers (eg in the calculator) appear like this: 123.456 not this: 123,456.
The procedure is as follows:

	Digital Fusion on WinXP

		1. Start -> Control Panel

		2. Open Regional and Language Settings

		3. Select the Regional Options tab (should be by default)

		4. Click Customize

		5. Select the Numbers tab (should be by default)

		6. In the Decimal Symbol field, change comma (,) to period (.)

	Digital Fusion on Win2K

		1. Start menu -> Settings->Control Panel->Regional Options

		2. Select the Numbers tab

		3. Change decimal symbol from a comma (,) to a period (.)

Adobe Premiere (and Incite)
Due to a limitation of the Adobe Premiere Plugin SDK, the AdvantEdge Interface is always launched on the first frame of the associated video sequence. Use the Frame Jogger (Time Controls) to view subsequent frames.

For Mac OS9:
Photoshop
If less than 100MB of Ram is allocated to Photoshop, launching the AdvantEdge filter will crash Photoshop.

Avid AVX
Due to a known bug in AVX architecture, Avid timelines must be set up for 2 layer inputs with the foreground sequence on a track directly above the background sequence. If an external clean plate and/or garbage matte frame are available to AdvantEdge, they must be imported from the hard drive from within the AdvantEdge UI through the Inputs Palette.

For Mac OSX:
Combustion
When manually entering a numeric value in a text-edit box, user must use the "Enter" key (as opposed to the Return Key) which can be found in the numeric keypad section of the keyboard.

Adobe Premiere
When manually entering a numeric value in a text-edit box, user must use the "Enter" key (as opposed to the Return Key) which can be found in the numeric keypad section of the keyboard.

*****************
** KNOWN BUGS  **
*****************

All Platforms:

* Double clicking on a chosen data point while using Color Conformance through Automation may choose wrong color

*  16-bit mode operation:
   1) Enabling Video Correction (DV) while in 16-bit mode, changes screen to black. Do not use Video Correction in 16-bit mode.
   2) When using Shadow controls, Shadow High value is improperly set to 0. User must manually change Shadow High to the maximum value before adjusting sliders or using "Hold Shadow" or "Remove Noise" eyedroppers with the Matte automation tools.
