Purpose
To edit (transform or project) a map.
Usage
Select edit map by clicking the edit map button in the attributes
menu, then click into the appropriate attribute value box containing a
map.
The value input box can be any value input box (e.g. intensity, color,
refraction or bump map).
The edit map menu will appear.
In this menu it is possible to transform maps.
After transforming a map, use raysketch (keyboard 'k'), raytrace
(keyboard 't')
or render detail (keyboard 'd') to view the transformation of the map.
Besides transforming a map, 2D maps can also be projected into 3D maps
in
the edit map menu.
This means a 2D map will be converted into a 3D solid texture map,
which can be used for mapping one map onto a number of objects or
onto an object with
undefined 2D mapping (like converted polygon objects).
