side attrbts

Purpose
To apply the sets of attributes to specific sides of the primitive solids.

Usage
Click the side attrbts toggle button to activate it. The following prompt will appear in the status area:
side number ?

In response to this prompt, enter the number that corresponds to the side to which you wish to apply the attributes (for the side numbers, refer to the figure below). As long as the toggle button remains active, bump map, add diffuse, add specular, add reflect, and add transp will apply only to the specified side(s). Click the toggle button again to deactivate it.

Comments
Keep in mind that each solid has a different number of sides. A ball has one side, a cone has two sides, a cylinder has three sides, a cube has six sides, a torus has one side, text has three sides, a free form extrusion has three sides, a free form rotation has one side, and a free form patch has one or two sides. To access side attributes again, first activate the toggle button and then enter the proper side number. side attributes overwrites assigned attributes when the side attrbts toggle button is deactivated.
