Usage
By default, spline mode is active resulting in a curved representation. To deactivate, click the corresponding button.
Comments
This option only applies to the free form window and to the free form types: extrusion, rotation, and patch. In the latter case, however, it applies only if point in path or path is active.
When this option is active, the wire frame representation of the object being constructed is more accurate. However, it takes more time to redraw the wire frame representations on the screen when this option is active.
Changing the setting for facets in the solid construct menu will also influence the redraw time.
