ff trans menu

move

Purpose
To transform points, a path, a path in a net, or a net by changing its position.

Usage
For general information on the use of move, refer to move in the the transform menu . If point in path, point in net, or path in net is currently active, you will have to select the point or path to be moved first. This is done by clicking the point or path you want to move.

Comments
To move multiple points in a path or net, first set the points using set in the ff edit menu or get ff tag in the ff trans menu. When path in net is active in the ff mode menu (only for patch type free forms), you can manipulate the individual paths that together constitute a net. Upon selecting move, a path can be selected for manipulation. To select a single path, click on the path between the control points. Clicking on a control point will activate the two paths running through the control point for manipulation. The move button will remain active until another button is clicked or another menu is selected. All transformations are relative to the last transformation or current position. In the case of move, an entity at position x = 2.0, y = 0.0, z = 0.0 that is moved by x = l.0, y = 0.0, z = 0.0 will have its new position at x = 3.0, y = 0.0, z = 0.0.
