History of ELECTROGIG

1983
In Amsterdam, Holland, several unique individuals from the audio-visual industry, founded the production company De Beeldenstorm, with the intention of utilizing and exploiting the most recent technological developments in digital image production.

1985
Increasingly frustrated by the creative limits imposed on their demanding designers by the available technology, De Beeldenstorm took the decision to develop their own production tool. To carry out this substantial project they formed Automated Images, a research and development facility, bringing together a small international group of computer scientists and mathematicians to work closely with designers, under the guidance of De Beeldenstorm founder Raymond Le Guè. The task given to Automated Images was to create a tool which would allow visual communicators to benefit from and interact with advanced computer graphics technology, but without the necessity of advanced programming knowledge.

1990
ELECTROGIG Nederland BV, was founded to market and distribute the ELECTROGIG software worldwide.

An expanding dealer network is now being constructed worldwide, to supply the demand for GIG 3DGO, based on the growing numbers of orders which are received daily in Amsterdam.
