frame number

Purpose
To show the current frame number.

Usage
When the flipbook control is in pause or in stop mode the entrybox may be selected and a frame number may be typed. This number should be in the range of frame numbers that is selected. Otherwise the original framenumber is restored.

frames per second

Purpose
To show the current frame rate in which the frames are displayed.

Usage
By selecting the entrybox any number can be typed in. After confirming with a left mouse click or keyboard enter the frames will be displayed in that rate per second. This application however has a maximum of displaying 1000 frames per second.

forward

Purpose
To display the animation frames in increasing order at normal speed.

backward

Purpose
To display the animation frames in decreasing order at normal speed.

fastforward

Purpose
To display the animation frames in increasing order at twice the normal speed.

fastbackward

Purpose
To display the animation frames in decreasing order at twice the normal speed.

step forward

Purpose
To display the animation frames manually in increasing order.

Usage
By selecting "stepforward" the next animation frame will be displayed. When the previous frame was the last frame in the range then the first frame in the range will be displayed.

step backward

Purpose
To display the animation frames manually in decreasing order.

Usage
By selecting "stepbackward" the previous animation frame will be displayed. When the previous frame was the first frame in the range then the last frame in the range will be displayed.

faster

Purpose
To increase the current frame rate to twice its previous speed.

Usage
After selected, the new frame rate will be twice the rate as the previous one. The maximum frame rate to be selected with the Flipbook utility is 1000 frames per second.

slower

Purpose
To decrease the current frame rate to half its previous speed.

Usage
After selected, the new frame rate will be half the rate as the previous one. The minimum frame rate is 1 frame per second.

back and forward

Purpose
To display the animation frames continiously in forward and backward order. When animation frames are displayed in increasing order and the last frame in the range is reached, the frames will be displayed in decreasing order until the first frame is reached.

pause

Purpose
To set the displaying of frames in pause mode.

Usage
After selected the displaying of frames is interrupted. After selecting it again the displaying is continued.

stop

Purpose
To stop the displaying of the animation frames.

Usage
After selected the displaying of frames is interrupted. By selecting forward or backward the displaying is continued.

exit

Purpose
To exit the displaying mode of the selected animation frames.

Usage
After selected, the flipbook displaying application is stopped. The flipbook controls are gone and a new range of animation files might be selected or the application may be exited.
