nurbs animation menu

edit timecurve

Purpose
To display the time curve from an animated shape currently being displayed in the active window.

Usage
First activate the window displaying the shape for which you want to see the time curve, then click the edit time curve button to activate it. The time curve of the shape from the currently active window will be displayed in the top right window. Click again to return to the original display in the window.

Comments
In the time curve window, the following will be displayed:

Shape level lines (horizontal lines)
For each time a shape has been fixed using fix nurbs, a shape level line will be displayed.
Time curve
This spline connects the different shape lines.
Current frame line (vertical line)
This line will display the current frame for the animated shape.
To move the current frame line, click move point in the points menu, then select the current frame line in the time curve window and move the line by holding the middle mouse button pressed while moving the mouse horizontally.
To move a point from the time curve, click move point in the points menu, then select a point from the time curve, and move the point by holding the middle mouse button pressed while moving the mouse. Moving horizontally will change the frame number for the point; moving vertically will change the position of the point between the two 'shape level lines'.
Points can also be added to, and removed from, the time curve.
To move a 'shape level line', see move shape.
Both contours and spines can be animated independently and therefore each will have its own time curve.
A Nurbs model can also be animated in surface mode. In this case the animations of the spine and contour will be removed.
