Purpose
Usage
Click the move button to activate it, then activate the part to be moved. By
holding the middle mouse button down while moving the mouse, the currently
active part will move along until you press the left mouse button. If the
keyboard toggle button is active, you can enter numerical values.
Comments
To activate a point, click on the point with the left mouse button (selected
points are yellow). If several points are on the same position, then all points
are selected, but if the <Shift> key is pressed, only the first point
will be selected. Press <Ctrl> to select the last point.
To activate a curve, click on the control polygon between two points (all
points will be selected).
To activate a grid, click on one of the lines from the grid
(selected grid will be black).
To activate the local axis, click on the local axis.
The move button will remain active until another button is clicked, or another
menu is selected.
The transformation actions with the mouse are relative to the current window.
By changing the view in the window, transformations in all directions are
possible. If you want to move in only one direction in the window, use the move
button in conjunction with the xy toggle button. All transformations are
relative to the current position.
It is also possible to select a point on a curve for transformation without
selecting any control points. When selecting a point on a curve, control points
will automatically be activated in order to transform the specified point on
the curve, although this will not work when the control polygon is on top of the curve. In this
case the complete control polygon will be activated.
