Usage
Click the simulate button to activate it. Any dynamic spline or skin will start moving under influence of their gravity, vector fields, collision models, etc. Also if freeze is not active, the key-framed animation will also be played.
Comments
Use reset simulation to reset dynamic points.

Usage
Click the record button to activate it. Any dynamic spline or skin will start moving under influence of their gravity, vector fields, collision models, etc. The user interaction with the model which occurs inside the record interval will be fixed (key-framed) at a specified frame rate (the sample by value). Every change in particle parameters is also recorded, see Particles manual pages: record parameters.
Comments
After recording the recorded keyframes can be edited like any other keyframe.
If images are recorded using record flipbook, the record button cannot be used.

Usage
Click the play button to start the animation. Only key-framed animation is performed, including inverse kinematics, but excluding dynamic systems. Use simulate to include dynamics. If a flipbook recording of wireframe images has been made, play is replaced with play recording. The recorded images will be displayed instead of doing the real animation. In this case, the frames/sec value controls the speed with which the images are played back.
Comments
If images are recorded, the simulate button cannot be used.

Usage
Click the frames/sec input box to activate it. It is now possible to change the number of frames displayed per second during display of wireframe flipbook images. This works only if images have been recorded with the record flipbook button in one of the camera control pop-up windows.
Comments
If the speed is set faster than your computer can manage, it will begin skipping images to reach the correct frames/sec.

Usage
Click the options button to activate it. The menu will change some buttons to save, get, and reset the screen lay-out. There is also a button to create extra cameras. Click close to restore the menu to the default buttons.
Comments
Camera windows can be deleted with standard window options (e.g., alt + right mouse button in an SGI environment).

Usage
Click the Particles button to activate it. The Organic interface will be replaced by the Particles interface. This is actually a shortcut: the normal procedure would be to go to GIG and choose the Particles tool.
Comments
Camera settings and windows will be retained in the Particles interface. This button is not available if a license for Particles does not exist.
