Camera windows

The camera view in each window can now be transformed by selecting from the camera menu bar.
Selecting one of the options will hide the cursor and activate the window.
By holding the middle
mouse button pressed and moving the mouse, the action will be performed.
Available functions:
- move
- See move in the camera menu for further explanation
- track
- See track in the camera menu for further explanation
- zoom
- See zoom in the camera menu for further explanation
- orbit
- See orbit coi in the camera menu for further explanation
- reset
- See reset camera in the camera menu for further explanation
- ctrl
- Pops up the Camera Control window.
Cameras can be resized by dragging one of the window corners using the
mouse.
During transformation of the camera view using move, track, orbit, or
zoom, the mouse sensitivity can be changed interactively.
Pressing ctrl while dragging the mouse during transformation of the
camera will increase the mouse sensitivity.
Pressing <shift> will decrease the mouse sensitivity.
reset will restore the mouse sensitivity.
- Camera windows can be closed by using the keyboard keys:
- <alt> <F9>(on SGI machines)
- <open>(on SUN machines)
- Camera windows can be restored by:
- clicking the bottom bar of the hidden camera icon (on SGI machines)
- <open>(on SUN machines)
- Camera windows can be removed by using the keys:
- <alt><right mouse>(keep mouse in camera window and select
quit from the pop-up menu)
- The following options are available when clicking the options menu:
- extra camera for additional cameras.
- save will save the current layout settings to a preference file, so these
settings are used at the beginning of each GIG session with the current project.
- reset will reset layout settings.
