Modeling with particles
Any object in GIG can be converted into particles.
Modelling can be done using radius, connect, and tailsize.
- radius
- Can be used to vary the size of the particles when converting, e.g., using a radius-variance to create particles of different sizes on an object.
- connect
- Can be used to join particles emitted from the same emitter. This makes possible effects such as growing hair, plants, or jellyfish.
- tailsize
- Changes the shape of particles that are moving and have a nonzero blur. It can be used to increase/decrease the radius of the tail compared to the radius of the head.
