transform menu

size

Purpose
To transform the currently active part of the tree or axes (when move axes or move ani ax is activated) by changing the size of it.

Usage
Click the size button to activate it. By holding the middle mouse button down while moving the mouse, the currently active part of the tree will change size until you press the left mouse button (right mouse button will cancel the last transformation). If the keyboard toggle button is active, you must enter numerical values to perform the size change. You will then see the following prompt in the status area:
size?

In response to this prompt, enter the size you want the currently active part of the tree to become in relation to the current size. If you do not want to change the size, press <Enter> to cancel.

Comments
The transformations are relative to the world coordinate system (when global or local axis is active, transformations are relative to the origin of the corresponding axis).
To undo the last size transformation (when using keyboard), press size again and divide by the same value.
Example: to undo a size transformation of "1.5", press size again and enter "/1.5".
As opposed to x-y-z size, size is used to equally resize the currently active part of the tree. Use x-y-z size to separately resize the x, y and z dimensions of the active node.
When show size is activated, the absolute size of the object may also be changed by entering numerical values in the x, y, and z input boxessize in the status area.
